		<description>Well, I&#039;m nearly 37 and a lot of Blytonisms were equally alien to me when I was young.  

Any child who chooses to read them now won&#039;t be desperately searching for a modern hook - there are plenty of texts out there that fulfil that role.  In which case, I&#039;d hazard a guess that new readers have enough common sense and maturity to work out the meanings behind odd random words or phrases.  After all, only a gist is really needed.

I vote &#039;Don&#039;t change&#039;.</description>
